Loud and proud! Black Majesty release their sixth full length album ‘Cross Of Thorns’ via new German label ‘Pride & Joy Music’. The Australian’s continue their legacy of staying ‘true’ to the style of melodic heavy metal with each and every release a progression of quality song writing. Vocalist John Cavaliere comes from the school of Dio, Kiske & Dickinson, with the latest offerings of Vlad the Impaler, Phoenix and Crossroads examples of the matured heartfelt vocals.

Speed, melody and tone – check! Guitarists Hanny Mohamed & Stevie Janevski understand the importance of setting the mood. Companies such as Jackson Guitars, EVH & Mesa Boogie Amplification have more than happily shown their support – Hanny & Stevie are renowned for their dual guitar Judas Priest style acrobatics that certainly shine on the new release Cross Of Thorns.

The band is rounded out with the thunderous rhythm section of Evan Harris on bass and Ben Wignall on drums – another highlight of the band’s all round musicianship.

Black Majesty has toured and gigged with some of the world’s best. Saxon, Blind Guardian, Hammerfall, Edguy, Masterplan and DragonForce… the list goes on. Invitations to play at some of the world’s best festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Metal Universe and Screamfest – check!
